Sounds great to me especially if its held at the musuem as I only live about 10 miles from it

Haven't been there in years...

Ayjay, it's in a place called Sparkford, on the somerset/Dorset border.
Deep in the darkest depths of the West-Country "Insert banjo music"...

no tar im too busy driving mine. 99% of the time there is always at least one or two roadsters at a show you just need to find out who is going and arrange to find them on the day.

the reason you dont see many is because there are not that many. there are loads being built but at a guess i would say there are only about 30max on the road.

Seriously?? After spending 3 years building my car, I'm not going to drive it to southern England to sit off for a month. Exactly why do we "owe" a publisher? I've already paid them for the book. Maybe I should post all the food I make from a cookery book to the publisher as well?

On a positive note, it would be better and far more practicable, to arrange a "Roadster" owners area at a car show. I say "Roadster" as Haynes won't let a car club use its name. You might as well take advantage of an event people want to go to anyway, to get together. Rather than have ridiculous expectations of those who have built a car.

Ha ha ha, this is something Chris (Gibbs) and I talked about, probably 2007 ish, right at the start of the Roadsters life.

I guess it's still in the planning stage.....
