Default Handbrake Circlips

I had a look at what I would need to fit my handbrake cable today. The new Sierra cable did not come with any circlips, any idea what I require? Are standard circlips ok?

I could also do with a photo of the handbrake cable adjuster connections and how you secured & connected the cable back together.

I thought i'd post on here to keep this near the top - i'm looking for the same answer. At the moment i've taken a normal circlip, stretched it a fraction (it wouldn't fit) and used that temporarily.

Any idea of how big the clip should be (i'm no where near the car and as i recall it didn't seem a standard size)

A standard external dia circlip should fit.
The pin dia is 6.5mm in the groove and the slot thickness is 1mm.
