Your new benchmark will be your roadster once its finished then if its got 150bhp or more it should dispose of your mr2 to about 90mph no bother

I love these engines too, great cars the old toyotas i have had a few, gt4 one of my favourites just not very nimble

My brother has a rev3 mr2 turbo that has just been fully rebuilt and bare metal respray, its totally stunning, all forged, bigger turbo etc etc. Its running 362bhp & my roadster gets a couple of car lengths on it up to 60 then it stays the same, then he catches up once you get upto 90/100, add a couple of corners into the mix and he has no chance! not bad considering his engine cost alomost as much as my completed roadster, although its built to take 500bhp should he feel the need for a giant turbo

My roadster is nearly finished. Going to be a little sad when I sell my MR2.
