Default Alternator Mounting

I have had a great day if the workshop, its taken six months and a lot of headaches, but its done, thanks to a little help from Dad in the week, and a bit of luck finding a power steering tensioner from a Carpri on e-bay that fits perfectly!

I finally managed to find a position to fit the alternator in the engine bay, while running it in the correct direction on the V6 Engine. I also nipped down to Halford who had the correct size belt on the shelf!

Things are really moving on and problems slowly being solved. I also managed to temporarily run all the fuel supply & retun lines, connect to the injector unit etc.

I really hope to have the engine running by Xmas, but if possible I will do it before the Exeter Kitcar Show.

I must admit the pennies are going out quickly, but equally I getting results.

Shame I filled the work Diesel van up with petrol and drove it home.. opps...
