Default Golf calipers

Hi I have bought some mk4 golf rear calipers instead of the sierra ones.
Just wondering if anyone else went down this route and also what rear hoses they used?

Read you can use mk2 to mk4 golf rear caliper conversion hoses, but looking at some pics they are very short, for most of the brake line on the back of golf is in hard line along the beam arm.

Thanks chris.

It's a simple job just get the right brake pipe fitting for a hose that fits the calliper and put that on a new brake pipe.
Simples.
Or Russ Bost Furore cars will make brake hoses to your specifications.

Question

Thanks for the reply I'll look up russbost and enquire.

I have been looking into making my own braided hoses as many do.
The trouble is the golf calipers have what looks like an m12x1 banjo and this seems to be quite rare, most banjos seem to be m10.

Thanks Chris

You are right the banjos are an odd size and longer than normal, why not put a female pipe union on the metal pipe after putting a flare on it.

All the pipe and unions cost me £60 in stainless braid for the brakes.
