Default Exhaust cat shield.

Not sure on which section to post this, so it's going here. lol

I knocked up this shield to protect the sharp edges on the cat for IVA. Just wondering if the IVA man's tool will fit in the gap?

Thoughts please people.

Cheers

Dave

Best bit so far: Getting it running
Worst bit so far: Cutting steel for wishbones and engine mounts.
Most annoying bit so far: Generator packing up half way through welding.

My only concern would be the plastic edging stuff melting when the car's been idling for 30 minutes (as may happen in the IVA).

Otherwise - it meets all the safety requirements of the IVA, I reckon!

How did you get on with this bit during your recent test Dave? I'm thinking of making something similar to cover the cat / exhaust to try and stop the mrs getting a burnt leg!
