Default Chassis clamping

Hi I have managed to fully weld the top of my chassis and have now managed to turn it over, if I just slowly weld up the bottom is there any need to clamp it down. It does not sit flat on the table now etc.
Should I pack up with wood and clamp it where I can.

Any thoughts

I did mine by carefully welding alternating side to side and back to front to limit build up of heat. I did get all of the bits I could fully weld done before I unclamped it and moved it though

Thanks for the reply, I have welded everything I could while it has been clamped to the table it is really just the ones attached to the table and parts of the rear suspension I could not reach. And so wondered just what effect it would have if any if I clamped rails TR1 down again!

Thanks Again
