Default Mid Engine Chassis Plans?

Are there any plans out there for a Mid Engine Chassis car?

I now have an MOT less Mondeo 24V. The engine/box only have 100,123 Miles on em. So I want to put it to some use in the future.

TT

Keep an eye on http://www.midlana.com/

Book's not out yet (he was the guy that built the Kimini mid engined mini http://www.kimini.com/ ) but 3 guys (in US) are currently building as 'beta' builders

Or check out MEV's products for chassis ideas (they're mainly Ford Focus based ) www.mevltd.co.uk

I have had this discussion with other forum members and thought of the following,VAG engine and box as the length from front pulley to driveshaft centre is fairly short, move steering support etc forward and driver and passenger sit where the engine and box were meant to be and engine goes in the space behind.
