have you removed the bottom flat at the 40 degree end of D7 & D8, ?
as in the diagram at the top of page 165 "remove material on fabrication"... this may account for the problem. hope this helps cheers andy |

Nothing wrong with being a geek, its something you specialise in, and its good to see you take that much of an interst in your job!! i know of alot of people who work 7.30 til 5.00 and not do much in that time.

Sorry about that Ronnie
As I read the first post on this thread I was actually in the middle of cutting a kit cheers Locky, I just really enjoy the chassis aspect of the build, & if I see a chassis build question/thread I try to help, any builder, not just to builders of kits that I cut. AndyB....hope it solves the problem, let me know how you get on....couldn,t resist the urge to "fire up the grinder" then?? cheers andy |

Sorry for late reply on this, been mega busy. If the rear frame is just tacked, if poss try & "tweek" it so that you get it as level as possible, maybe wedge something underneath it resting on the build table to keep it level whilst you weld it, but make sure if doing that it doesn,t throw the other side out. Personally I would try & get it spot on if you can, are you sure its the frame & not the build table dipping slightly on that side? cheers andy |
