Default Carbon products

Hi guys,

Having taken sunday off (first day off since boxing day ) I decided to have some fun with carbon fibre. I have just added a carbon fibre dash to the shop, with more products to come soon such as bonnet and flyscreen. I have put the dash up at £95 plus postage, (free postage for forum members, just select free pickup then add username to comments box)

I also have the prototype, which I dont feel is good enough to sell at full price. Its ok but the weave has gone a bit wavy. Looking for £50 plus postage for that pm for details.

Sorry for the crap photos, i must get a decent camera!

Regards

Nathan

The dash looks really good, a set of carbon sill protectors would be nice as it will hide the join between the side panel and chassis rail.

Looking really nice.

Just one question.

How can we give that extra gloss to the carbon dash? giving a coat of varnish or there is enough thickness of resin to be polished (If that's possible)?

Thanks

Ps i would love to have a set of front and rear carbon wings... Are you planning to have them made?

Build cost.... seems to be spending more on tools than car bits at the moment! (they will be handy in the future though).
Car iva'd and passed 15/08/2014. Finished weight 572kg.

spent untill 10pm in the workshop last night catching up on some orders so had a bit more fun before i went home, didnt come out great but it is a prototype. Epoxy resin is evil

The finished article must weigh less than 50gram, but very stiff. They will require edge trimming though as the edges are very thin. Ive got alot of orders to get through in the next week, so its gonna be a week or two before i get to improve the finish and play with bonnet and arches so watch this space....
