Very nice guys, congratulations, looks and sounds great
Will it be a road car, or track days only? What about making home-built kit cars road legal in Belgium? Is it as hard and almost impossible as it is in France? As I'm French, I'm quite curious about that. Thanks!

I have zero experience with the import/export. a starting point would be to see what "test" an imported car needs to have to be begium registered or if its just a paperwork exercise. if theres anything u need from the uk I am sure we'll all pool our brain cells to help u. whats registration like in holland? may not have to come to the uk first.

But now there are some regulations changes (just read this yesterday): Every car which has been registered in another country (Also kit cars in the UK) can get a belgian registration without to much problems. This is a huge relief for kit car fans in Belgium The step to get it registered in Holland, is just because it is easier to get a car registered from there than one from the UK. (With the new regulations this is not necessary) Last edited by Wgroove : 20th January 2014 at 02:53 PM. |

well done Wim,
we're about at the same stage as you. See the pictures. And only some 60 km from one another. From the start, we've decided not to bring it on the road. Can I offer you a vacuum formed dashboard ? And rear deck maybe ? I've made a few before I felt happy but I only need one. Eddy |

It is a nice offer, but we will be making a Caterham style dash and rear deck.
Your build looks very tidy. |

Interesting! Do you have a design for the dashboard yet? The Caterham scuttle is much lower, there's lots more space on the Haynes dashboard.
