personally i would weld it back up but if you "needed" to use sealant then i would use the above mentioned "shit" but thats only my opinion and not the law
and if i wanted to save a few hundred quid i would make my own bodywork rather than buy it ready made but i dont so i will.

if your gonna use a gasket you must use NITRILE rubber - look in your local yellow pages under gaskets and pipework etc for industry - i got a sheet from a local industrial unit cost me a fiver for a 2 foot square.. easiest way
