Although I just could be winding you up

It is near my unit though, that bit was true

Good luck with getting it sorted, doesnt look like it will take much to put it right

All the ones I have taken for VIC were tested and taxed on the same day.

You can get the car tested at the same time as a vic check but when I took a old car in they would not do the vic check cause the car failed the test something to be aware of although it was many moons ago now

Bag of hammers indeed.

The new shockers, wishbonses and swivels from MK are due to arrive with Andy on Tuesday.

Ive just made contact with the car's original builder scoobyis2cool who will be sending me copies of the build receipts, notes and photos from 2004. Though he hasn't been active on car forums for a while I was lucky to find he uses his old forum name on Ebay.

Well Andy's work got the Indy sailing through the MOT and Ive just been up to collect it from the sellers house in Stockton which gave a nice opportunity to meet up with Andy and Vmax over several cups of tea before heading back. Cant wait to get in VIC checked now and insured.

I knew the Indy was closely related to the Haynes but was surpised at how very similar they are both structuarlly and visually. The chassis is almost identical apart from the use of some curved tube in the transmission tunnel. The wishbones look different but fit the same, bodywork is slightly different

Both chassis where designed by the same guy that is why they are not too different in appearance, the Haynes body work is a cut and shut version of the Indy.
