caterham own the use of the number 7 and seven even clubman when used to describe cars like the lotus 7...They take people to court for using it

Not here they won't that's why you don't see anyone using anything other than LSIS in relation to a seven style car. I know a firm who had to change the name of their car because of it.

How come at Soneleigh, all the cars on the Lotus 7 owners club pitch were caterhams? Should it not be the Caterham 7-ish Clubman-type-sportscar owners club?

Even more confusion.

My car is part Locost, part Haynes Roadster, part my own design, what the H should I call it? A Roadcost? A Locster, or oven a Haynes Roa-Lo-Cost-der!!! Ha ha! How many people could sue me for using all that lot?

did they go to court? Most firms get scared when they get a letter from an attorney and just give in. Lotus wasn't the first car company to use 7 and that should prevent them from claiming it's use exclusively.
