Default Donor parts on fleabay

LINK
Spotted this on ebay, don't know how much of the car he salvaged, but could be a good start for someone looking for a donor and doesn't want an old knacker on the drive for 6 months.
Good luck
Alan

Oh yeah, just remembered, the bloody bits were in Essex. So that would have been £70 for the parts, and £100 for diesel. Think I'll stick with what I got

Reg would be worth nothing until it was back on the car and MOT'd

Just goes to show, there are still bargains to be had out there

Especialy if folk are willing to travel a fair distance to collect them

Depend's on one's idea of a bargain

£70 for a complete donor kit ( Pinto too ) + V5 on sorn, then £100 -£ 150 on fuel .

That doesn't sound like a bad deal to me bearing in mind you will not have the agro of stripping the donor car

That said, in some cases the bargains are just a tad too far away

My daily driver was a bargain !!

3 year old Mazda, cat C write off ..... Paid £1750, worth 6K .... Cost £600 to repair.

Downside was, 22 hour round trip to trailer it home from Essex to Cornwall.

Still driving it almost 10 years later & has been a geat motor
