Ali for the Floor Needed
I have some ali sheet left over from my last build, think its enough to make the back panel and tranny panels.
But not enough for the floor. has anyone got any left overs or know somewhere at a good price. Don't mind it being a two piece floor. Also do you have to weld the seat runner mounts in first, have people used a standard spacing for this as at the moment I don't know what seats I'll be using. Thanks Mike |

Seat mounts depend on the runners. I welded mine in first.

iv just used 3mm, id rather have a little bit more between my arse and the road than save weight, im a skinny bugger anyway but i suppose its just down to personal preference.

As Rob says, 2mm 5bar chequer plate works really well and looks the part too. Just need to grind flat the treads where it sits under the bottom rails.
