Default Ok time to start!!

Hi guys
I'm finally back with the time to start my build have my doner!! (May be a bit ambitious but I will give it a go) I want to make sure it fits before I say what it is but I haven't found anyone that has done one yet (I like to be different) garage is all ready as are my tools! metal is ordered so getting excited and ready for the misses to moan for the time I will be spending on it lol I'm sure she will be feeding me lots of coffee and bacon sandwiches!! Quick question how do we find out about meets and shows for kit cars? Would like to meet a few of these awesome cars and the guys that created them.

Great news - we will have another roadster
It will be some kind of quiz - because we have to guess what is you donor from photos you HAVE TO post
Anyway - good luck with build... and we're all waiting for your updates.

well we can start working backwards by elimination...

4 Pot's Have mostly been done.

As have Nissan Straight 6's

Ford 12V V6 done, 24V there was one in progress.

Rover V8, been tried.

BMW V8 Tried.

Small Block American V8 Tried.

Not a huge number or RWD doners out there.

So I think, he's got a Mercedes Class Straight 6.

My guess would be a boxer engine from a impreza which I started 2 years ago then left alone or a rotary from an rx7/8 which has also been done. So other than electric or pulse jet what's left rubber band or pedal?

Edit....ah a thought has past my way are you going to fit a Volvo 3ltr straight 6 with a BMW box?

An impreza engine would be amazing. Even the UK models have over 200bhp as standard well turbos anyway.
I've had a few imports and just love that engine.

What happen to yours? Did you have trouble fitting? Or was it other reasons?
