Default Pedal Bush - How much would you pay

I have some extra acetal left over from my pedal bushes and will probably have some steel tube suitable for the pedals too
If I made some extra bushes and pedal tubes to sell how much do you think people would pay for them on eBay? i know these could be tricky to make without a lathe.

I don't want to be greedy just help towards the cost of my roadster.

Cheers
Andy

In fact how much would you be prepared to pay for a pedal kit consisting of

3 x 28mm od 22mm ID x 29.5mm tubes
3 x 22mm x 30mm acetal bushes with an 8mm hole through.
3 x 5mm pieces of steel with a 28mm hole to suit the steel tube
3 x 3mm rolled steel plates for the foot plates

i think this keeps the spirit of home built but helps as not everyone has access to a lathe. punch press and rolling wheels.

Regards

Andy

Question How long is a piece of string

Its always going to be an awkward proposition .T he only way is to cost your materials and time and then test it on the market. If you've got what people want then they will pay for it.

to be honest, I see no use for such bushes and complicity for a pedal box.....

I had built my own floor mounted pedals and box and used no bushes at all. Only used a steel bar with 12.5mm diameter hole through welded to the pedals and a 12mm dia shaft steel running through pedal's "bush" (sleeve) and box with nylon spacers between pedals.
A small grease nipple is fitted to each pedal sleeve and they work perfect and smoothly and will last a lifetime

I've just made mine a few days ago, it took five or so hours to turn up the six bushes I needed in nylon and the spacers. My normal hourly charge is £42 inc VAT. Anybody want to buy a set?

I'm obviously taking the wet stuff, but how much would you pay?

3GE used to charge about £19. That's for 6 self lubing oilite bushes, crush tubes and the tubes for them to fit in.

Hope that helps.
