Default Indicators and Mirrors for IVA

Mirrors and Indicators for IVA

After pulling my finger out and tackling the wiring on my kit, IVA looks a lot more likely in the next few months.

I have some front indicators but they ended up being really small bodies as they are LEDs ones so I think I'll need some bigger ones for IVA. Any recommendations? Do they have to meet the radiues requirements Also top tips to mount to nose cone to space them out?
These are similar to my current ones RYDE MICRO OVAL MOTORCYCLE LED INDICATORS BLACK WITH CLEAR LENS BIKE/MOTORBIKE

Also after recommendations for side and rear view mirrors, again I have some really nice mirrors but I think again they'll be too small to get the right field of view I need a centre mirror also.
I was looking at this for a centre mirror
Race Kit Car Rear View Centre Mirror CONVEX - CARBON

Last one for today, side repeaters, I have some of the small button LEDs that I was going to mount on the rear arches, is there a particular height they need to be?

Thanks

Mike

Glad to hear your cracking on and headed towards iva
Right everything has to meet the edge radius requirements, to space them out people have made extensions from some tubing to put them further out
Can't really help with mirrors as I used the Westfield ones on my screen supports
Re the height of the repeaters there is a page in the iva manual that has the regs and angles in it
Good luck

For side repeaters don't forget there is a distance from the front to adhere to, if you put them in the top of the arch they will be too far back, I had to move mine further round the arch to pass, height wasn't a problem.

If you have a look at the last picture on this page you will see my solution.

The indicators are mounted on the front wings as are the LED repeaters. The main indicators are available as a pattern part or VW beetle front indicators. Wing mirrors are from a Yamaha R1 and the center rear view came from rally design for about £15 - it needed a bit of edge trim for IVA but was ok.

Thanks.

I've ordered my side mirrors, just need a recommendation for a centre mirror now?

I've got my side repeaters in and wired up and my tell tale light now working with a couple of diodes.

Just need front indicator extensions to make.

I've got an ideal pair of front indicators you can have for a small fee (£10 + postage?). Got them off an LCB member for my IVA but didn't need them in the end as mine just sneaked through.
