Default Metro Seat Runners

Quick question guys - which metro seat runners are you using - I just been offered a choice of 3 door, 5 door and drivers or passenger side.

I'm guessing I want the 5 door type - but driver or passenger side?

Cheers

Dave

Ash

Thanks for that - is there any difference between the drivers and passenger side units?

Cheers

Dave

no but there is a little lug which is on opposite sides on each seat. It doesnt matter though as you have to chop them off as they are not needed.

Cheers AshG

Found some for sale at £5 each and you get a choice of what you want! Once I've got mine and checked they are ok I will post the contact details up for the group.

Hi

Unfortunately that fell through as the guy had 6 metros in the yard, but when he went out out get them all of them had the seat runners missing - what are the odds on that! As they seem very difficult to get hold of now I am looking at cutting down the sierra runners like Spikehaus did.

I spotted a metro at the breakers a few weeks back.

Went up there the next day all tooled up to take the seat runners off .... Removed the front seat, just to find that the runners were an integral part of the seat frame

I guess that they changed the runners on the late models

Back to the drawing board for me !!

Landrover series 3 drivers seat runners are lower than Metro runners.

Probably the same ones as the 6 pairs of Triumph Vitesse ones that I weighed in for scrap just before I made my build table
