Cool

I really cannot wait to get my hands on it!

Anyone interested in seeing this in the flesh it will be on stand M58 at the Exeter Kit and Sportscar show on the 22nd/23rd October.

It will, God willing, be clad with the new Vodou bodywork and sitting on a set of our new wishbones.

Is this chassis going ahead? I have been waiting over a week for a price on chassis and wishbones now.

Doesn't really fill me full of confidence

Saturn MX5 Based Chassis, Limited Slip Diff & 2.4 Quick Rack.

Build cost.... seems to be spending more on tools than car bits at the moment! (they will be handy in the future though).
Car iva'd and passed 15/08/2014. Finished weight 572kg.

I think it needs to be understand that Vodou and Talon are more or less one man bands in their own rights, when we are busy people have to wait. I am not a kit car manufacturer I don't supply a complete car in a box or employ 4-5 people, I just make the components that some people prefer to buy. We have seen the results of companies rushing to get products out and have been shot down in flames very publicly, we are not about to make the same mistake.
The chassis pics that I have shown are just the bare bones needed to make a rolling chassis, the steering and suspension mounting points need to be finalised and tested to prove that they are up to the job.
I can supply you with a very basic chassis with the mods you want for £675 and the wishbones for £300 your currently looking at a 5 week wait. If you want to leave a deposit I will add you to the list and email you a week before the collection/delivery date.

There, that wasn't so difficult was it?

I do hate to put you out and ask you for a price for something you advertise for sale. I don't know what I was thinking expecting an answer within a week.

On balance I think I will spend my money with a company who are interested in the business. Thanks anyway.

No problem always happy to help. You know you could always just buy the chassis and wishbones that goes with your choice of body work, after all it's a direct fit and purpose made.
