the measurements i,ve used for the headlamp brackets have taken into account that i can use either 7inch or 5. 3/4inch headlights as they both still conform to the spacing requirements of the IVA for the spacing from the widest part of the car, tho i did think of using the more modern 4inch lights but these wouldn,t have met the distance requirements with the length of my brackets.

thanks andy, my head lamps are going to be 146mm so i think the measurements you had should be ok but i´ll give the guy from the sva a call tomorrow just to be sure we have the same rules here

Ash,

I,m confused by the 7 degree angle, are the supports horizontal with the frame and the angle makes them parallel with the front frame. Or are the brackets angled up or down from the horizontal, if you get my gist. Please see attachment.

Hi Peter,

hope its ok to respond as not sure if Ash is online till later in the evenings.....

the 7 degrees is as your diagram A, so that the stalks are parallel with the front frame, the stalks are set at the horizontal level with the top of TR1 & TR2.

sorry if i shouldn,t respond but thought you might be working on your chassis this afternoon
