brake master cylinder

My donor had ABS so I will need a new master cylinder. I'm assuming here that a mc from any suitable car will do, not just the sierra one. Any thoughts or guidance appreciated.

You will need to ensure that the diameter of the pistons for the front and rear circuits are the same diameter - have a searhc for brakes international on google as they have a great online catalogue.

Thanks David I had a quick look and it appears that the MC from a Fiat 124 will do the job at around £16.
Also checked Locost forum and found that some builders were using this.

I've got discs all round. I may have to put a reducer in the braking system.
The brake pads on the rear are smaller than the front so I don't know yet if this will make a difference.

Also I've found out that it's quite expensive to buy the fluid reservoir which will have to be adapted to suit the MC (around £37 incl Vat from CBS).

I'm keeping my options open and head on down to the breakers at the weekend to see if I can find a suitable cylinder and reservoir complete.
I do have a second hand sierra cylinder which requires new seals, however the reservoir sits at an angle when mounted and I am concerned that this will affect the level warning.

My reservoir also sits at an angle from the donor sierra but the fluid warning still works fine
