Last time it was vat free i had the voucher by email, when i asked in the store why, he said that last year over 60% that where sent by post during the snow storms didnt arrive until after the event so they lost a fortune in sales

Years ago (when I was a boy> when I was working out of a single garage I built a swing lift a bit like the one below but a lot less industrial. The good thing about it was when you were finished with it it just swung against the wall out of the way. Not hard to build and nothing to store or put away. You will need to brace the top to the roof joist.

Looking really good Nathan, you've done a great job with the black body finish to - it's a bugger to do black.

Now can you get it back together again, i want to have a go with the big bike engine in........

Well Done.....AndyH

Thanks andy, your welcome to pop down whenever you like for a blast once its all finished.

Bob, thats excactly the sort of thing i was thinking of making, but without the swing part. Just a single joist down the legnth of the garage, bolted ontop of the end walls to act as a sort of rail track.
