Default Fuel tank earth

I know there is an Iva requirement to earth the fuel tank however I am wondering if the earth lead from the internal pump/ sender unit will be sufficient. I am using he mx5 based sender this is earthed and bolted to the tank.

Any advice would be helpful.

Saturn MX5 Based Chassis, Limited Slip Diff & 2.4 Quick Rack.

Build cost.... seems to be spending more on tools than car bits at the moment! (they will be handy in the future though).
Car iva'd and passed 15/08/2014. Finished weight 572kg.

Default

Use a seperate lead from sender securing screws/bolts to chassis, remove paint and use star/spring washer.
