Default Modifying a nose cone

Hi guys,

with my car being 4" wider than a standard locost, and needing extra height to clear my monstrous engine, I need a nosecone that is significantly larger than average. I have a standard locost nosecone that I would like to modify to fit.

I know the basic theory of cut-and-shutting a nosecone, but I have never really worked with GRP before and i don't want to risk ruining my nosecone.

Has anybody done it successfully?

Got any pictures?

Thanks

Sam
