Default Bike shocks

ive been emailing a few bike shock suppliers to see is i can get anything cheaper than the £380 for them. Ive found ones suitable for the rear at £130 for the pair, but i cant find anything for the front at the moment.

Ive found 350mm(13.7in) centre to centre, 250lb springs, about 3.2 in travel in them and an OD of 2.5 in which i think is right. Would there be any reason why bike shocks would be inadequate?

Thanks

just had a look, but they only seem to have 175lb and 275lb springs on them which i would have thought would have been adequate.

Not sure how good they are, always get mixed opinions on these sorts of things...

But the price is good!
