Default Earth cable on fuel sender ?

Hello,
Do you guys know if one of these 3 cables from the fuel sender is an earth ?

I'm making a new closure plate in aluminium for my aluminium tank, and I am re-using the original sender from the Sierra. But the new fuel proof electric connections I have are designed for 2 cables only.

As I will have an earth connection on the closure plate (there was one on the original closure plate of the Sierra's tank), if one of the 3 cables of the sender is an earth, I can connect it directly to my earth plug, under the plate (inside the tank), and I won't need to go through the plate. So my fuel proof electric connections will receive the 2 other cables.

I thought the white cable might be an earth?

Thanks in advance for your answers.
