Default throttle linkage on bike carbs

TO ANYONE RUNNING PINTO WITH BIKE CARBS PLEASE HELP

got the cable fitted to pedal,over to the carbs and fitted it on the throttle part of the carbs BUT there is another cable to act as the return,is this needed as i see on the various books there ain't any or do i need a spring at the pedal to return it to the start position.

Yep bike carbs generally have a return cable, I fitted a return spring to my pedal and it works a treat.

AHH would you have any idea of the size and strength of it and even a pic of it in place,I have be trying to fit it to the return cable at the carb end and it is just not working as well as it should be
