Default Who the hell invented red lead

Have started to clean up my diff ready for painting, the guy I bought it off had decided to paint it with red lead. Have been at it each evening now for best part of a week even went out a bought a dremmel just to get into the corners of the casting. Red lead should be outlawed, luckily my mate was able to grit blast the cover plate and that has come up brill, pity he cant do the rest for me without stripping it out.

just put the driveshafts in and sand blast the whole thing. sand blasters dont damage rubber so its win win.
