I shouldn't but at this price and with VAT going up at the end of year.
John feel free to ship them with my bushes.

And couldn't resist it a quote from my fav film to lighten your day.

Nick the Greek: Dunno. Seems expensive.
Tom: Seems? Well, this seems to be a complete waste of my time. That, my friend, is 900 nicker in any store you're lucky enough to find one in. And you're haggling over 200 pound? What school of finance did you come from Nick? "It's a deal, it's a steal, it's the Sale of the ***** Century!" In fact, f*** it Nick, I think I'll keep it!
Nick the Greek: All right all right, keep your Alans on!
[Peels off notes from his wad]
Nick the Greek: Here's a ton.
Tom, Eddie: J***** Christ!
Eddie: You could choke a dozen donkeys on that! And you're haggling over one hundred pound? What're you doing when you're not buying stereos Nick? Finance revolutions?
Nick the Greek: 100 pound is still 100 pound.
Tom: Not when the price is 200 pound it ain't! And certainly not when you've got Liberia's deficit in your skyrocket. Tighter than a duck's butt you are. Now, lemme feel the fibre of your fabric.

So, anyone's got the skinny on what's the advantage of Protech over Gaz? Why are they overwhelmingly more popular?

I think personally that when you compare the two side by side the protech do look a very high quality product and at the end of the day they are on show.,although i bought gaz as couldnt get a decent price at the time for protech

I have a freind on another forum who worked at GAZ.

He runs AVO's on his car.

That should tell you something.

My own car uses gaz as they were a far bit cheaper than protech at the time

I have driven a roadster with protech shocks and it handled almost identical to my car when on the limits (very well and controlable)

However the protech ones are a different class in terms of build quality compared to gaz! if they were as closely priced as the group buy when i got mine it would have been protech for me too

Cant comment on reliability, havnt had any issues with mine as yet (quick get a piece of wood ) but have heard a few instances where the gaz shocks leak

I think Ash g had this problem with one of his shocks before he had even driven the car!

I have spent the last two weeks looking for the best prices on shocks and springs, as this should be all that I need to get a rolling chassis ..... should have just looked on here!!

Just a thought (very cheeky admittedly) but if you end up going back to Protech and ordering way more than you thought initially, they might give you even more discount (purchasing power at its best). ..... just speculating

Anyway, prices are fantastic as they stand, so count me in. When would you like paid?

Cheers,

Jonathan
