Default Horny question 2

Thanks for that but I now have another horny question !!

The switch inside the steering wheel is for a switched earth which the donor does by relays or the alarm unit. I didn't intend to use a relay, but both of the horns have the body connected to earth. Can I use the horn push as a switched live or is this dangerous ?
Hope someone understands.

Cheers

Pete

Hi Peter

Adrian is bang on there

If the horns are earthed at the body ( Only have a single pin for the live )
Use the horn push wire to switch a realy as sugested.

Not a great idea to use a live wire for the horn push

I am sure some bright bod will knock you up a quick diagram if you shoud run into any problems
