Default I built this in my spare time...

Whilst taking a break from building my roadster, I built this...

apologies for the huge picture...

Built on an old caravan chassis I bought from ebay for £60 - the whole thing cost me just under £450, all brand new steel, all galvanised.

It's designed to take my roadster to trackdays, it's a locost car transporter if you like.

Finished it yesterday - I'm quite chuffed with it. I can't imagine how chuffed I will feel when i get the car done!

Good looking job Gus, I'm just happy to know that a roadster builder has "spare time" .

Now thats gonna be a proud day, first time you take your Roadster to a track, built the car AND the trailer to get it there, you,ll be building an "Easy up " gazeebo thing to park the car under in the paddock next

Best bit so far: Getting it running
Worst bit so far: Cutting steel for wishbones and engine mounts.
Most annoying bit so far: Generator packing up half way through welding.

I built a general purpose trailer from an old caravan.

It was very heavy, towed lovely though.
