Default Whats this for

Hi guys,

As i've lost all my saved photo's from when i was dismantling my doner, i can't remember what the bit below is for.

My donor was a 1.8cvh sierra and from memory I have a similar relay, fairly sure it is one of the main relays? Sure tt or someone will be along shortly to confirm.

From memory the only relay with a fuse attached to it like that is the radiator fan

I had one like that except it was green (with its own fuse). It was part of the ECU from memory so I removed it because of using a megajolt.

I can't remember what donor car you had Terry

That relay has the same part number as the Sierra I am currently working on.
It's DOHC fitted with the exact same unit & it is the fuel pump relay.

The colour codes of the wiring don't match mine though.

I guess if you do not have an EFI engine it won't be the fuel pump relay.

The donor was originally a 1.8cvh, but was changed to a 2l pinto.

If it's for the ecu or a pump relay, i won't be needing it as i don't have either of these now.

Thanks for your help guys.

Hoping to have the car runing by next weekend, just got to sort out a new fuel pump and fuel regulator.
