You are probably right for technical reasons Mark,but its an interesting concept all the same and I would like to hear from those in the know as regards spec as my "dealer" can supply at a decent price.

7020 alloy plate and tube but it doesn't grow on trees like steel does...

Someone used to use black pudding and exhaust tubing to make chassis's a few years ago but thankfully they stopped..they even did one based on a spam tin

I do 7020 is aircraft spec and a fortune so forget it
