Default Kit Parts Direct GRP seat deal

Has anyone bought / seen these?
http://www.kitpartsdirect.com/item.p...P4POINTKITPAIR

Price seems very low, so I'm guessing they're thin and floppy.

Any thoughts?

I bought a pair of these . They are ok but if you can afford better ones I would go for them. The thickness of the grip around the sides varies so it's hard to get the protective edging on. They have also blistered in the sun.

I have used this company a few times and never been pleased with what arrived. I ordered carbon wing protectors and black grip ones arrived. When they were exchanged the correct ones had tyre marks on them.

The runners that came with mine were so wobbly I had to weld them locked in one position

David

They are comfy seats but very snug.

Saturn MX5 Based Chassis, Limited Slip Diff & 2.4 Quick Rack.

Build cost.... seems to be spending more on tools than car bits at the moment! (they will be handy in the future though).
Car iva'd and passed 15/08/2014. Finished weight 572kg.

Thanks David,

I'll have to give it some more thought. Out of curiosity, if you could go back what would you buy?

I should have worn a mask when I got a pair of genuine leather caterham s3 seats for £60. I know it's the width that is the normal issue with a lot of seats

Thanks Guys,

I'll probably go with the MEV ones. Issue is picking them up as they're not open weekends.
