Default Bye Bye Volvo, Roll On Merc...

Back in April when we sold our MK1 golf we got my bro's Volvo V40.. then last month I was offered my m8's Benz C230 elegance estate for £200 which passed it's MOT fine .

Tonight the volvo went, it's cost me £9 excluding petrol and insurance to run it since April after working out costs/sales .. and done about 1400 miles. I think that's darn good.

So the C230 gets insured and taxed tomorrow and I am back in RWD Luxo Heaven again yay... Back with right wheel drive .

Strange parking brake!

And it uses a steerign box! lsat car I had with one of them was my old Carlton back in 2002.

Strangely, both our daily drivers are now both 2.3L 4 pots, which is about the biggest 4pot engine you get due to complexit caused by dealing with harmonics.

My mate used to have a 944 s2 that was a 3 litre four pot. That's the largest petrol four pot I know of.

A mate runs one of those merc estates as a mobile dog kennel and van, two bloody great alsatians + tools. Bomb proof car and the last of the better built mercs.
