2.0 Pinto Radiator
Getting close to needing a radiator. I am using a 2.0 litre pinto and thought I would ask for recomendations for a good radiator that is also easy to plumb in.
Any recomendations? |

Hi Tom, welcome to the forum
I,m using the Polo rad for my build, tho I believe the Clio rad is also very popular, Ash G used a Clio rad on his car, have a look at his build blog photos to give you some info as he used a Pinto too. hope this helps. cheers andy

I too used a clio rad but the top outlet is angled at about 45 degrees so you have to fit the rad at a slight angle to ensure the hose fits ok

Another option is the VW Polo 1.0 85-90 rad with 380x320x34 core. VW part no 867 121 253D/E. http://www.adrad.co.uk/redesign/pric...AGEN&make=POLO

Clio diesel is slightly larger and more capacity.

Thanks guys
Sounds like a toss up with the Polo rad slightly in front because it is easier to install. Probaly go with the first good one I find down my local scrappy! |
