Default The wife is getting clever !

About half an hour ago the misses looks across at me and said, "why are you building a 2 seater sports car, when you have just broken a fairly decent mx5 ?", needless to say, the sly cow t-boned me with that one ! Mmmm. The women are becoming suspicious, it's going to be hard to answer this one. Luckily my neighbour knocked on the door, & asked for a hand. Suggestions for a suitable excuse on the back of a post card !

its a dream of mine to build a 7 sports car. I know I will never be able to afford to. I never normally finish anything but this is a dream... <puppy dog eyes> its an ambition. its something I really want to do.

she cant argue with that.

Easy the mx5 has a rubbish body on decent engine and running gear would be a shame to scrap the body and not use the running gear

If she doesn't fall for it revert to plan A I just want to ok now get back to sewing cake making and housework lol

Dont forget the conversion of sterling into "wife pounds"

1 wife pound = 10 build pounds
