Default Rip

Hi all I've not been on here for a long time .I finished my car a few years ago.
However it has been confirmed today that it's a total loss ( write off )
I had an engine fire in the middle of France whilst on tour last August. I've not been sure till now whether it would be recovered. So I suppose it's minus one on the completed list.
However it may live again since it is available for salvage in France so the red dragon may be reborn as Le Coq rouge.
To encourage those who are still building , it's an absolute blast not only to be driving this type of car but to have built it yourself is a forever experience and we'll worth the effort and months of work. Go for it guys

He has already jumped ship to the dark side of the Tiger, turncoat

As I said to you last night mate, you came out of it in one piece and that is what matters

Sorry to hear that Ayjay, that sucks!
Where about is it in France? If you need help to try to bring it back to the UK, and you can't because of language/administration, etc., do not hesitate to ask, I'll be happy to help, now that I'm back in France.

Sorry to hear that hope you get sorted out as said as much as it hurts to lose a car that you have put heart and soul into, you are ok and the car can be replaced, keep the faith

I know ( or did in the day ) of a couple of guys who lost show cars ( fords ) due to unde bonnet fires.. I luckily escaped my Cartlon going up in flames when it's fuel rail supply sprung a leak.
