Default Donor for sale

Morning guys

Due to unforseen circumstances i am no longer going to be able to start with my build so i am selling off the bits i have bought for it.

I have a 92 sierra 1.8cvh complete and did have MOT and TAX when i parked it in my garage( they have now run out)

Car runs very good(i left it for a couple of months and went out to start it and it started first time) althought it may want some more fuel very soon as on fumes.

I have reciepts for a lot of work done on it which include seals headgasket and just before it came off road had new brake caliper and front coil spring etc. on its last Mot it only covered about 1000 miles for a charity rally then it was garaged

The only problem im aware of with the car is 1 of the rubber fuel pipes has perished and leaks when the car is running. any more questions please ask me.
Im after £300 ono so as i can get my money back on wht i paid and bits its had etc.

Have a folder full of receipts for oil seals steering bushes clutch and headgasket etc.

Also have most of the old mots and sale receipts etc

I also hae a escort steering rack which i bought from AshG im looking to recoup what i paid which is £50 his is rack was like new ad Ash only used for a couple of thousand miles.

I also have a couple of engine mounts rubbers which i will do for £5 +Postage

If i find any other bits ive picked up along the way then ill add them on here.

Cheers
Craig

Sorry to ask - i know the car is gone now - but is the CVH engine as useable in the Haynes build as the Pinto? I guess the engine mounts will need shifting - but is the engine height an issue?

There are many builders including myself that have cvh engines fitted. The only issue that I am aware of heightwise is that you will have a k&n filter sticking through the bonnet unless you choose to run bike carbs

From memory I think the twinky engine is taller but there are still builders using them so not out of the question

I fabricated my own engine mounts so the engine sits lower in the chassis and I believe this is the norm also
