Default Bolt tensile strength

What tensile strength have my bolts got to be on the wishbones etc please ? 8.8 or the 12's ? Just wondered as I am about to go back through the car replacing stuff & torquing everything down & marking with my little tip ex pen all of the torqued bolts. Any help would be appreciated, I have the iva guide, but I must be going blind as I can't find anything about bolt strengths. Lol

I do not recall any specifics about bolt tensile strengths, but I would if I were you I'd have a minimum of 8.8 on all suspension components and seat mountings......I personally would also have them on the drive train and engine/gearbox mounts. like I say I cannot remember anything in the iva manual.....hope this helps

It does mention in IVA manual about bolt strengths for something but cant remember what,as a minimum you want 8.8 but for me stronger the better I use 10.9 or 12.

Thank you both, I just didn't want to fail an iva on something silly like the wrong strength bolts. Loving the tango machine Kev, you have done yourself proud with that one ! Give up Kevo & build car no.2, you know that you want too !
