I like the mod to the 'Z' axis I'll do that to mine, I was going to try and drive by the handle but sometimes it sticks and your idea looks much better especially with the gas strut.

Hi David, your Minnie looks most excellent. That was the first traction engine I built, I then went on to build a 2 inch scale Clayton steam lorry and a 5 inch Boxhill terrier. It has to be said that your craftsmanship looks better than mine

I bought her as a leaky boiler, gears, part made wheels and a pile of castings. I also have a 3 1/2 Conway, again running on air and a pile of parts to build a 4" Foster traction engine . You can never have enough projects
