Diff
Hi,sorry to ask again but would a 7.5 diff with a 3.9 ratio fit the Haynes roadster. And be suitable.thanks

Yes..but you need to do a cut n shut mod on the standard diff mounting to get it to fit in the chassis..I have the 7.5" fitted to my build.

hi, thanks for the speedy reply, what needs to be done exactly is it just a case of moving the hole positions, where the diff mounts ?

The diff bracket is an L shape so what i did was to cut the top half of the section that bolts to the diff off...move it to the other side of the plate that bolts to the chassis plate ...if that makes sense...this will give you the extra space you need to pop the diff in ...it is a bit bigger gap than required but i made a spacer to compensate
