Well we got home ok and landed about 1800 so not a bad run home
4hrs exactly..
great to meet all you guys and see the cars
thanks to everyone for the hospitality, banter and company it was a good weekend that was only marred by a bit of crap weather at times
expecting to come home to a roast but the missus was adamant i was going to treat her to a chinese !!!!!!!!! i moaned at the cost
she said i,d spent a fortune at the show
i said i hadn,t bought anything
she said i was fibbing
i swore i hadn,t
she then trumped that with " i saw the list you and Tj had written " and if you have bought half of that then ...............
we had chinese of course!!!!!!!!!!
cheers les g

PS . good job she didn,t see the finished list or look in the back of the van

Hi David

Firstly, a very warm welcome to the forum.

Secondly, so, so sorry for paying thanks to John for all of the tea

Got a brain like a sieve when it comes to names, my signature says it all really

David, thank you so much for all of the tea you made for me over the weekend mate

Les

Glad you enjoyed the week end & had a good run back home.

It was a real pleasure to meet you & TJ.

Hope you have stashed the contents of your van mate

Got back late, 11pm, last night after being rained on and my hat blew off doing a ton on the M1 so had a very cold head the last 100 miles. Car did the return trip silky smooth, lovely comfy ride.

Had a great weekend, shame the weather was a bit pants though. Was very successful for Saturn and Haynes as a group. Sorry we couldn't spend much sociable time but it was all a lot busier and tiring than any of us thought it would be. Will know better next time.

Was good to meet plenty of fellow builders and put faces to names and thank for the box of tinnies Ginge, we'll be enjoying them tonight.

Thanks All.....AndyH + Anja + Adam

It was good to meet everyone, old and new!

Big thanks to Ginge for helping with my erection, new tents can be tricky!

Big thanks to Dave and Jackie for their hospitality, much apreciated.

Looking forward to the next one...

Cheers

Chris
