Well another day another update. Engine mounts arrived in the post along with my shiny new VIN plate. Then spent the rest of the day with a razor blade and a pair of wire cutters chopping the crap out of the MX5 loom. Quite surprised how little useless crap was in there, but as it doesnt have AC, ABS,TRACS or any of that other rubbish the loom is pretty straight forward and basic
