Default Which is inlet and which is outlet - ZX6R fuel pump

I'm wondering if people could let me know which side of my fuel pump is inlet and which is outlet, it is from a carbed ZX6R bike and came off the same bike that my carbs are from. From looking down the spigots one side seems to be a rotor vain (LHS), which I'm guessing is the inlet, and the other side kind of looks like a valve which I'm guessing is the outlet, but confirmation from people would be much appreciated.

Left is In, Right is Out, as you have it shown in that photo. The pump is marked somewhere, it must be for me to have plumbed it in correctly!
