Really, some of these guys are unbelievable. I hate relying on them it always pretty much puts a downer on a build. Alan at AGM has now sold on his moulds and retired too. Seems Equinox is the only "known quantity" supplier now, but they aren't cheap.

That's pants, nearly as long as I've been waiting for bodywork!

Bollox, AGM was my back-up plan

I actually got an email today offering me a refund. Would much rather just get my bodywork.

The thing that puts me off Equinox is a certain bloke that's always going on about how great Equinox are, calls his car an Equinox Roadster, has Equinox stickers plastered all over it, yet claims he has nothing to do with Equinox

But, as I understand it, the AGM parts are still available, just with someone else?

Skov, would an option be Phil's offer he posted a week or two back?

I would ask for a refund. The ones I bought from them had so much play in them I had to weld them solid.

My seats that I bought from them started to bubble.

And I also bought some genuine carbon fibre stone guards that looked like a car tyre had gone over them. After they send me the wrong ones. They had also been cut with a Stanley knife that had slipped and damaged the front face.

Saturn MX5 Based Chassis, Limited Slip Diff & 2.4 Quick Rack.

Build cost.... seems to be spending more on tools than car bits at the moment! (they will be handy in the future though).
Car iva'd and passed 15/08/2014. Finished weight 572kg.

Would this be any good? Just spray it like you did with your bonnet and then get your refund.

FWIW when I spoke to Equinox, Ben really is just a pleased enthusiastic customer that lives local to Dave. Shouldn't let that put you off but you would need a new scuttle as well as bonnet and nosecone if you go equinox as they are an inch or so higher that others.

Cheers
Stot
