Default It could only happen to me...

I think I've spent too much time hanging around with Ash.
Some of his bad luck seems to have rubbed of on me.

Last week I posted that I had lost my Maxi ball joint nuts.

Well, first of I want to give a big thankyou to Janne E for sending me a couple of nuts down here.
Cheers I owe you one mate...

Went to fit them this afternoon, One side fitted perfek....M12x1.25.
The other side has a different thread.....

So all you that said they have M12x1.25 you are correct.
To all you that said they are 1/2 UNF you are probably correct as well

OR..... You are all wrong.......

Well ..... That'll explain why we were coming up with different sizes .... I guess it all depends on the makers tooling

Spending too much time with Ash

I hope you get it sorted mate .... I bet you said " Bless my soul, they are both different "

I just run out and checked mine I have two pairs both from RD and they are all M12x1.25
It sounds really strange, where did you get them?

Then I should send you the nuts I was standing and looking at the spare balljoints and thinking that I maybe should send complete new pair but there was no way I could belive that it could be different threads.....

David 22kronor = Ģ2 so itīs not expensive

Janne

I got them off Ebay.... New old stock..
So god knows their history.

Defo different threads though.
One screws on no probs, down to the nylock.
The other only picks up on the first couple of threads, then binds up.

I'm going to have a look in my odd nut box tomorrow, see what I got.
I've only checked the Metric side (Thinking they were both the same)
So may have an imperial one that I ain't tried yet.

22Kronor=Ģ2..well I still owe you a pint.
Or I'll post you over a Stonleigh dougnut

Glad you at least got your nuts sorted

I would ask, what is the problem with the engine wiring .... Got a funny feeling, if I do .... You'll say, if I knew what the problem was, I wouldn't have a problem !!??

Hope you get it sorted soon mate
