Question Headlights

I got my headlights through the post the other day and sat looking at them thinking a single mounting bolt, and I began to wonder if it is possible to have headlights that "look round corners" - has anyone tried this? I was thinking it might be possible to attach the head light either to the wing supports or adjust the book mounts, and with an extra linkage make the lights steer.

Thinking more either a bearing or second plate with some clever clips could provide a rotating platform, a linkage to the steering rack, with the correct ratios I think it could be quite successful.

Next big questions is would it be legal??

What do you all think?

Regards

Jon

PS sorry for the brain drain.

Forgive me but Citroen did this one about a million years ago and they were conected to the rack by a wire and spring contraption, worked very well.

Do it after the IVA as Ash says.
Nice idea though.
